OLM Converter Working Manual - for Windows

STEP 1

First, you can go to the download button for getting the OLM Export Tool on Windows machine and then install it properly. The first screen is given below:

Now, hit Next button that open a new screen in which you need to add the OLM data by using Select File or Select Folder button as mentioned in the screenshot:

If you want to export your corrupted/damaged OLM data then, you can click on the checkbox of “use extracted mode for OLM files” option. Then, hit on the Next button.

A single click on Next button will start the loading and analyzing process of OLM folders on the next screen as mentioned below:

After uploading the folders, you can choose the OLM items for conversion as per the requirement. After selecting the required items, directly hit on the Next button.

STEP 6

Once you have clicked on Next button will open another Window. In this Window, you can view the complete list of saving output format as mentioned in the screenshot:

File Formats- PST, MSG, EML, EMLX, MBOX, HTML, MHT, XPS, RTF, DOC, CSV, PDF

Cloud Based services- Office 365, G Suite, Outlook.com, IBM Verse, Amazon Workmail, IMAP Server
Outlook for Mac (OLM) Contacts- vCard Format, Outlook Contacts, Thunderbird Contacts, Windows Live Contacts, Yahoo! Contacts, Gmail Contacts

STEP 7

Select the saving location if you are exporting OLM files to File formats. (By default, it is set as Desktop.)

And if you are exporting to cloud based services or any server, you just need to enter the login credentials to connect to the respective options.

STEP 8

To Export OLM to PST File Format:-

If you select PST option as export type, then the software will provide options which includes :

Create Separate PST for every OLM
Change Language Option
and Destination Path.

To Export OLM to PDF, MSG, EML, EMLx, HTML, MHT, XPS, RTF, DOC, Windows Live Mail:-

If you select PDF, MSG, EML, EMLx, HTML, MHT, XPS, RTF, DOC, Windows Live Mail option as export type then the software will provide Destination Path (with the option to save converted messages in same source folder) and File Naming Options. So, you can use different file naming options to manage output data as per the requirement.

To Export OLM to MBOX, CSV, Lotus Notes, Zimbra, Thunderbird:-

For exporting OLM files to MBOX, CSV, Lotus Notes, Zimbra, Thunderbird, select any of these output option in Select Saving Options. After selecting, choose the Destination Path (with the option to save converted messages in same source folder)and start the conversion process.

STEP 9

For cloud saving options, you just need to provide their login details and the tool will migrate all OLM data into provided account directly without data loss.

For Office 365

For Exchange Server/ Hosted Exchange Server

For Gmail, Outlook.com, YahooMail, Rediffmail, G Suite, IBM Verse, Amazon Workmail

For Gmail, Outlook.com, YahooMail, Rediffmail, G Suite, IBM Verse, Amazon Workmail, you will be required to enter their respecive login details, as shown below

For IMAP Server

STEP 10

The tool also has the ability to convert Outlook for Mac (OLM) Contacts and Calendars-

For Outlook for Mac (OLM) Contacts to vCard Format, Outlook Contacts, Thunderbird Contacts, Windows Live Contacts, Yahoo! Contacts, Gmail Contacts

STEP 11

After selecting the appropriate option, you can quickly hit on the Convert button which directly starts the OLM file conversion procedure. The given below screen shows the live status of conversion process.

A few minutes later, OLM file conversion process gets completed with the successful message appearing on the software screen as mentioned in the below screenshot:

As you click on OK button, the software will automatically open the destination folder containing resultant files.

STEP 1

First download MailDivert OLM Converter for Mac and Launch it on your Mac System. Once, it gets launched, the screenshot will be shown as:

Click on Add Files or Add Folder button to load OLM Files/Folders.

STEP 3

The software will display the list of selected OLM files, as shown below.

The application also gives option to remove OLM files. Click on Remove button to remove selected files and if you want to remove all files, then click on Remove All button.

You can view the selected OLM files alongwith their checkboxes. Click on the checkboxes to select OLM files for conversion and click on Next button to proceed further

Click on Select Saving Option drop down list and choose desired saving option.

Choose the right format as per your needs as shown below-

STEP 7

The OLM Converter for Mac also provides various sub options for individually selected output options.

For PST

Separate PST per OLM File - Choose this option to create separate PST file for each OLM file. Unchecking this option will save all OLM files in one PST file.

For PDF Format

Save Attachment Options- In this option, the software provides multiple options to save Attachments in PDF
1. Embed Attachments into PDF
2. Extract Attachments to separate folder
File Naming Options - Multiple file naming options are available in this option, so you can choose as per need to save resultant file, then click on OK button.

Choose the appropriate filter option from the following options -

For EML, EMLx, MSG, HTML, MHT

File Naming Options - Choose required file naming options to save resultant files.

STEP 8

The OLM Converter for Mac also has the ability to convert OLM Contacts and Calendars to standard vCard and ICS formats respectively -

STEP 9

STEP 10

After you are done with all the selection, click on Export to start the process of Mac OLM conversion. The process will display every detail about the conversion such as the files name, total count, converted items, status etc.

STEP 11

After completion you will get a message box displaying “Conversion completed”. Click on OK button to finish the process. As you click on OK button, the software will automatically open log report in Notepad. You can save it in TXT file for keeping complete conversion record.

STEP 12

The software also automatically opens the destination folder containing resultant files. -
